Cuauhtémoc Medina
A Mexican art critic, curator, and art historian currently based in Mexico City. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and his PhD in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex. He has been a full-time researcher at the Institute of Aesthetic Research at UNAM since 1992 and is currently Chief Curator of the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC) in Mexico City. From 2002 to 2008, he was the first Associate Curator of Latin American Art Collections at Tate Modern in London. Throughout his long and fruitful career, he has collaborated with numerous prominent international and Latin American artists, including Hito Steyerl, Andrea Fraser, and Teresa Margolles.
