Valentina Montero

Valentina Montero is a researcher, professor, and curator specializing in contemporary art and the intersections between art, science, and technology. She is an associate professor at Finis Terrae University, where she directs the Master’s Program in Image Research and Creation, and is the founder of PAM / Plataforma Arte y Medios, an initiative dedicated to the research and promotion of media arts in Latin America. She has served as principal investigator and co-investigator on ANID/Fondecyt projects and has published in journals such as Leonardo, Artnodes, and Aisthesis. Her current research explores feminist genealogies in art and technology, issues of archiving, the poetics of error, digital culture, and collaborative practices. She holds a Ph.D. in Artistic Production from the University of Barcelona.
