Internship Opportunity at Il Posto Archive

The Il Posto Foundation, dedicated to the promotion, study, and dissemination of contemporary Latin American art, is offering an internship at its Research and Documentation Center for students or graduates interested in working with art archives. The internship will focus specifically on the cataloging, digitization, and preventive conservation of the Juan Pablo Langlois Documentary Collection, recently incorporated into the Il Posto Archive.

Internship Opportunity at Il Posto Archive

Required profile
• Individuals with studies in Archival Science, Library Science, Art History, Visual Arts, or other related disciplines.
• Basic knowledge of contemporary Chilean art, especially the Chilean artist Juan Pablo Langlois.
• Interest in art archives, documentary heritage, and conservation practices.
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and willingness to work systematically with documentation.
• Previous experience in archives, documentation centers, or document management will be valued (not required).

Main duties:
• Describing and cataloging the documents that make up the Juan Pablo Langlois Documentary Collection
• Preventive conservation tasks, including basic cleaning and assisting with the physical organization of the archive
• Digitizing documents

Working conditions
• Flexible working hours, 20 hours per week
• 100% on-site work
• From April to July 2026 (with the possibility of extension or renewal)
• Fee-based contract
• CLP 300,000 net per month
