Javier Guerrero
Associate Professor of Latin American Studies at Princeton University. His critical work explores the intersection of visual culture and gender and sexuality studies in Latin America. He is the author and editor of the books Technologies of the Body: Exhibitionism and Visuality in Latin America (Iberoamericana, 2014), Sick Narratives (Conaculta, 2014), Mauricio Walerstein (FCN, 2002), The Archive and the Beyond (Metales Pesados, 2022), and the novel Spas of Ethiopia (Eterna Cadencia, 2011), among others. He is also co-editor of the books Excesses of the Body (Eterna Cadencia, 2009) and Drag Kings: Critical Archaeology of Spectacular Masculinities in Latin America (Metales Pesados, 2021).
