Sebastián Valenzuela-Valdivia

Researcher and curator/editor of contemporary art. Some of his research projects include: Corpusgraphesis; Investigations of Language Through the Bodies of Artists (2013), Neighborhood Collection: Collaboration as Artwork Production and Installation as an Emancipatory Strategy (2014), The Staging of the Archive, Its Different Phenomena of Reception and Manipulation (2015), and Staging of the Body Through Video, Book, and Photography in Carlos Leppe (2016-2017), Archive, Body, and Performance in Marcela Serrano (2018-2020), and From Body to Archive: Photo, Video, and Performance Book in Chile [1973-1990] (2021-2022). He is currently the director of ECFRASIS.COM; coordinator of the Thought and Publishing area at the Salvador Allende Museum of Solidarity; and coordinator of the Community Heritage program at the Spanish Cultural Center in Santiago, Chile.
