Rodolfo Opazo
Rodolfo Opazo was a Chilean painter, sculptor, and engraver born in Santiago in 1935. He began his artistic studies at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Chile and later joined Nemesio Antúnez's Taller 99 to study engraving. In 1961, he moved to New York on a scholarship from the Pan American Union to study art at the Pratt Graphic Art Center. He held several solo exhibitions in Chile and abroad, and in 2001 he was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts.
