Sandra Vasquez de la Horra
Sandra Vásquez de la Horra is a Chilean artist born in Viña del Mar in 1967 and based in Germany since 1995. She graduated from the University of Design in Viña del Mar and continued her studies at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf being a disciple of Jannis Kounellis and Rosemarie Trockel. Winner of the Contemporary Drawing Prize awarded by the Guerlain Foundation in Paris (2009), she has exhibited at the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Kunst Palast Museum in Düsseldorf and the Albertina Museum in Vienna, as well as the 30th Biennial of São Paulo. His work can be found in important public collections such as the MOMA in New York, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Pompidou Museum in Paris, the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, the Kunst Palast Museum in Düsseldorf, and The National Gallery of Victoria in Australia, among others.
