Iván Navarro

Santiago, 1972

Iván Navarro is a visual artist born in Santiago in 1972 and currently based in New York. He studied Bachelor of Arts at the Catholic University of Chile, where he was a student of Eugenio Dittborn, Eduardo Vilches and the art critic and curator Justo Pastor Mellado. His work is part of important public and private collections in various parts of the world and has been present at numerous international exhibitions. An example of this is his participation in 2009 at the Venice Biennale, as the first national representative of the Chilean pavilion.
