Amalia Pica is an Argentine artist based in London. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires; the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte in Buenos Aires and the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Her work is part of important collections, such as those of the Tate; MoMA; Guggenheim (New York) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago). She has also exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including: "Rock Comb" (Brighton CCA); "Quasi" (Fondazione Memmo); "Accumulations and Overlaps" (Tanya Bonakdar Gallery), "Breaking the Mould: Sculpture by Women since 1945" (Djanogly Gallery, Lakeside Arts) and the Shanghai, Venice and Cuenca Biennials.
