Alejandra Prieto is a Chilean artist born in Santiago in 1980. She studied Bachelor of Arts at the Catholic University of Chile and subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Visual Arts from the University of Chile. She has participated in several international exhibitions, highlighting the 11th Biennial of Havana, the 7th Biennale of Mercosur and collective exhibits such as Junkies Promises, at Paul Kasmin Gallery, and Urban Pollutions, at MAC USP. She has also received awards such as the first prize of the CCU Art Scholarship and the prize to the Young Plastic Creation, awarded by the Latin Union, Paris, France.
