Enrique Ježik is a visual artist born in Córdoba in 1961 and currently based in Mexico City. He began exhibiting his work, mainly sculpture, in the early 1980s and graduated in Fine Arts from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School in Buenos Aires in 1987. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and grants and has participated in various exhibitions worldwide, including the IV Mercosur Biennial, the 29th São Paulo Biennial, and the 29th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts. In 1986 and 1987, he was part of the Argentine art collective Grupo de la X alongside Ana Gallardo, Pablo Siquier, Ernesto Ballesteros, Jorge Macchi, Carolina Antoniadis, María Causa, Andrea Racciatti, Gladys Nistor, Gustavo Figueroa, Juan Papparella, and Martín Pels.
