Aimé Iglesias Lukin

She is an art historian and curator. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, she has lived in New York since 2011. Her PhD in art history from Rutgers University, titled "This Must Be the Place: Latin American Artists in New York 1965-1975," was converted into an exhibition at the Americas Society in 2021. She completed her MFA at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and her undergraduate studies in art history at the University of Buenos Aires. She has been an independent curator of exhibitions at museums and cultural centers, and previously worked in the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Institute for Latin American Art Studies, and the Proa Foundation in Buenos Aires. She is currently the Director of the Americas Society of Visual Arts in New York.
