Eugenio Viola

Eugenio Viola

Italian art critic and curator. He holds a doctorate in "Methods and Methodologies of Archaeological and Historical-Artistic Research" from the University of Salerno and specializes in experiences and theories related to performance and the poetics of the body. On this subject, Viola has edited monographs dedicated to Marina Abramović (Sole 24 Ore Cultura, Milan), Regina José Galindo (Skira, Milan, 2014), and ORLAN (Charta, Milan-New York, 2007), among others, and has published several essays in international publications. He is currently the Chief Curator of the Museum of Modern Art of Bogotá (MAMBO).
