On Monday, 24 July, curator and academic José Luis Falconi gave a lecture entitled ‘Avatars of Indigenism’, about a series of research projects and exhibitions that raise essential questions about contemporary indigenous art in Latin America.
In his presentation, Falconi referred particularly to the work of Guatemalan artists from the Il Posto Collection, such as Regina José Galindo, Marilyn Boror, Antonio Pichillá, among others.
