In “From Body to Archive”, Valenzuela-Valdivia invites us to reconsider curatorial and archival criteria in order to define new categories of analysis relevant to experimentation with the body and the use of media such as photography, video, and performance books, placing these practices within the framework of historicity and communicative power surrounding sexual dissidence, transvestism, and identity.

The conversation at Il Posto Documentos was moderated by researcher Paz López and served to spark interesting reflections on the development of performance practices in Chile and their relationship with documentary archives.
