Sebasti\u00e1n Cottenie (1996) holds a PhD in Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he also obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Literature. His research interests include modern Latin American literature and culture (19th and 20th centuries), gender and sexuality studies, and queer-cuir theories, linking literary studies with the visual arts. He has published academic chapters and articles in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States, is the author of Desfigurando la naci\u00f3n: Supervivencias del deseo en Donoso y Wacquez (2024), and is the co-author of other publications.
