Through the study of the artistic work of Eugenio Dittborn, Nury Gonz\u00e1lez, and Ra\u00fal Ruiz, he explores the paradox of their traveling images, which, in his words, are \u201cbetween&#8230; neither at the beginning, nor in the middle, nor at the end,\u201d \u201cbeyond all immobility, finality, and rigidity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Willy Thayer<\/strong> is a philosopher and professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences (UMCE). He has written for collective books, magazines, and art catalogs. He has published La crisis no moderna de la universidad moderna (The Non-Modern Crisis of the Modern University) (Cuarto Propio, 1996; reissued by Ediciones Mimesis, 2019), translated into Portuguese by UFMG (Belo Horizonte, 2002); El fragmento repetido. Escritos en estados de excepci\u00f3n (The Repeated Fragment: Writings in States of Exception) (Metales Pesados, 2006); Tecnolog\u00edas de la cr\u00edtica. Entre Walter Benjamin y Gilles Deleuze (Metales Pesados, 2010), translated into English by Fordham University Press (New York, 2020), and El barniz del esqueleto (Palinodia, 2011).
