Willy Thayer

Professor of the Department of Philosophy at the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences (UMCE). Coordinator of the Critical Theory Program and Director of Ediciones Macul. He has contributed to collective books and catalogs. His publications include "The Non-Modern Crisis of the Modern University" (1996, 2002), "The Repeated Fragment. Writings in States of Exception" (2006), "Technologies of Critique" (2010, 2018), "The Varnish of the Skeleton" (Six Essays on the Sinister) (2011), and "Exotic Image" (2019). He also edited, together with Pablo Oyarzun, "Writing and Tremor: Posthumous Writings of Patricio Marchant" (2000), and the collective volumes "History, Violence, Image" (2007) and "The (Im)possible University" (2018).
