Christian Salablanca

Heredia, 1990

Christian Salablanca is a visual artist born in Heredia in 1990. He holds a degree from the School of Art and Visual Communication at the National University of Costa Rica and has undertaken residencies in programs such as Movimientos de Flora Ars + Natura, Sagrada Mercancía, and Espira La Espora, among others. His works often provoke reflections on the cultural relationships that link systems of violence in the contemporary world. He has exhibited in various solo and group shows in countries including Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Mexico, England, Spain, Ecuador, and Brazil. Additionally, he participated in the X Central American Biennial and the BIENAL DEL SUR 2019.
