Wynnie Mynerva
Wynnie Mynerva is a Peruvian visual artist born in Lima in 1993. She holds a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Painting from the Escuela Nacional Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú and studied Art History at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Her work, which explores and tensions notions related to gender, queer aesthetics, the body and female desire, has been exhibited in solo shows such as "El jardín de las delicias", "Sex Machine" and "El otro sexo", as well as in group shows held in Lima, Argentina, Brazil, Spain and the USA. She was selected to participate in the Fountainhead residency program and invited by Uberbau House in 2019 for a research residency in contemporary art in Sao Paulo.
