Natalia Babarovic
Natalia Babarovic is a visual artist born in Santiago in 1966. She studied art at the University of Chile, where she was a student of Adolfo Couve and Gonzalo Díaz, and in 1994 she received a Master's degree in Visual Arts from the same university. Her work, eminently pictorial, explores the dialogues and refractions between painting and the technical means of the image, while returning to traditional painting genres to reflect on the place this medium occupies in the contemporary art world. She has exhibited in Chile as well as in Great Britain, Belgium, France, the United States and Peru, among other countries.
