Ricardo Yrarrázabal is a Chilean visual artist born in Santiago in 1931. His work has been characterized by insistently addressing the human figure, highlighting its fears, suffering and, above all, its relationship with loneliness. He has exhibited in more than a hundred individual and collective exhibitions in Chile and abroad - including Washington, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Paris, Caracas and Medellín - and is part of the permanent collection of the most significant museums of the country (MNBA, MAC, MAVI, among others), in addition to the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
