On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition ‘ANDER: Cultural Resistance at El Trolley and Matucana 19’, its curator, Juan José Santos, gave a lecture on Thursday, 6 October, at Il Posto Documentos, where he told us about the research and production process behind the exhibition.

The talk served to delve deeper not only into the history of El Trolley and Matucana 19, but also into certain aspects related to the museography of the exhibition and ‘the problems, fictions and conflicts’ arising from curatorial work.
Juan José Santos is an art critic and independent curator. He is the founding director of Art on Trial and author of the books Curaduría de Latinoamérica (2018), Curaduría de Latinoamérica Vol. II (2020) and Juicio al postjuicio. ¿Para qué sirve hoy la crítica de arte? (2019).
