Trifulca: processes, conflict, and materiality in the production of art
Friday, June 19, 2026
16:00 hours

In this conference, artist Adolfo Martínez will discuss the creative processes behind “Trifulca: Penitent Objects,” presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art (2026). Drawing on his practice, the talk will address the tensions between materiality, labor, and territory that run through the work, understanding conflict—the “trifulca”—as a structural condition of artistic practice. The presentation will be moderated by Laura Ibáñez, curator of the exhibition, who will guide the discussion and facilitate an exchange with the audience.
